New Brand - PIET BOON
The studio’s heritage lies in Amsterdam and the nearby Zaanstreek, a region, known for its innovative spirit. In the Zaanstreek, painters, woodworkers, carpenters, masons and other master craftsmen became entrepreneurs and tastemakers as early as the 15th century. Building on this heritage, a practical outlook combined with the spirit of creative expertise, Studio Piet Boon was established by Dutch designer and Zaanstreek local Piet Boon in 1983. The Piet Boon products are designed to capture the essence of the Studio Piet Boon identity. Each high-quality designer piece is passionately crafted with rich natural materials, attention to detail and refined taste. Both aesthetics and intended use are considered in their design process. In 1994, Jan te Lintelo, later joined by his life partner Lars Nikolajsen, out of his passion for design and furniture began creating the LINTELOO collection, in which, right from the start comfort and luxury living were key.
